What Is a Campaign?

A campaign is a container that groups related trades together for a single ticker and strategy. For example, if you sell a put credit spread on SPX, that opening trade creates a new campaign. Every action you take on that position — rolling, laddering, expiring, closing, or boxing — gets logged as a new trade within the same campaign. The campaign tracks your aggregate performance: total profit, allocated capital, ROI, break-even, and current status. When the position is fully closed, the campaign closes automatically. Think of it like a folder: one campaign per position, with all its trades inside.
